County Road #95, Mountain Rest Road in the Town of New Paltz, approximately 0.3 miles southeast of the intersection with Butterville Road, will be closed to all thru traffic effective Tuesday, October 19th to facilitate a culvert replacement project. Traffic may use Canaan Rd north for 0.7 miles to Dug Rd Northeast for 0.3 miles to Kleinekill Dr southeast for 1.2 miles to Springtown Rd south for 0.5 miles to Mountain Rest Rd. 

The necessity for such closing consists that the construction activities for the culvert replacement will pose a safety risk to the roadway which is a COUNTY road and is being closed under authority vested by Section 104 of the Highway Law
