U.S. Bureau of the Census - Data.Census.gov - The number one portal and starter point for all demographic research. It includes a variety of options for research for everyone. It contains options for very basic end-users to detailed tables.
U.S. Bureau of the Census - Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics - Combines State and Census employer and employee data for analysis purposes.
Statsamerica.org - The goal of StatsAmerica is to provide actionable data for economic developers to use in site requests, developing metrics, grant writing and strategic planning.
National Historical Geographic Information System (NHGIS) - The National Historical Geographic Information System (NHGIS) provides, free of charge, aggregate census data and GIS-compatible boundary files for the United States between 1790 and 2011.
U.S. Bureau of the Census - County and Zip Code Business Patterns - County Business Patterns and Zip Code Patterns are an annual series that provides subnational economic data by industry. The series is useful for studying the economic activity of small areas; analyzing economic changes over time; and as a benchmark for statistical series, surveys, and databases between economic censuses. Businesses use the data for analyzing market potential, measuring the effectiveness of sales and advertising programs, setting sales quotas, and developing budgets. Government agencies use the data for administration and planning.

National Center for Education Statistics - The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education.

National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership Data Sources - The National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership (NNIP) is a collaborative effort by the Urban Institute and local partners to further the development and use of neighborhood information systems in local policymaking and community building.
Cornell New York Statistical Information Services (NYSIS) - Projection Data
IPUMS - IPUMS-USA is an integrated series of representative samples drawn from the U.S. censuses of 1850 to 2010. IPUMS-USA also includes the American Community Survey (ACS) data from 2000 to Present.
Marist College Bureau of Economic Research - Housed within the Marist School of Management, the Bureau of Economic Research typically releases five reports each year regarding different aspects of the Hudson Valley economy, including household income, income tax analysis, commutation patterns of workers, migration, and overall employment and wages. The Bureau also conducts economic impact studies, as well as forecasting and policy analysis.
