County Executive Mike Hein Announces The Launch Of The Redesigned Ulster County Tourism Website

UlsterCountyAlive.com Is Full Of Information And More User-Friendly Than Ever Before 

KINGSTON - County Executive Mike Hein announces the launch of the newly redesigned Ulster County Tourism website, UlsterCountyAlive.com.  The completely revamped website encompasses user-friendly navigation and includes: an overview of events throughout Ulster County, a lodging reservation system, general tips and guides for travelers and a mapping tool for identifying recreational activities.  It also showcases the beauty of Ulster County with pictures of the area and includes a vast video library.

The website includes a new responsive design so it can be displayed effectively on all electronic devices such as desktop computers, mobile phones and tablets, and contains listings of over 800 tourism locations. The dynamic calendar feature allows travelers to view events and directly add them to their personal calendar.  There is also a translation function with more than 90 accessible languages and users will have access to a video and publication library for informational material produced by Ulster County Tourism.

Located less than 90 minutes from Manhattan, Ulster County is set in 250,000 forever-wild acres. It features 35 peaks and 350 miles of hiking trails. Ulster County is a true four-season destination, offering everything from golfing and fishing to hiking and biking, and much more.
