The Ulster County Office Building Will Be Lit Blue Beginning April 2nd - Autism Awareness Day
Kingston, NY - Ulster County Executive Mike Hein announces that Ulster County will recognize Autism Awareness Month by lighting the Ulster County Office Building at 244 Fair Street in Kingston with blue lighting beginning April 2, 2016 which is World Autism Awareness Day. Every year thousands of landmarks, schools, businesses and homes unite by shining blue lights in honor of the millions of individuals and families affected by autism.

Such a law was proposed by the County Executive last July but blocked by a small faction of Legislators in committee and prevented from reaching the floor of the Legislature for a vote.
