Kingston, NY — Ulster County District Attorney Emmanuel Nneji officially announced the appointment of Elizabeth Culmone-Mills as the next Chief Assistant District Attorney. This appointment is DA Nneji’s first official act as District Attorney.

Posted: October 12, 2023Kingston, NY-- On Thursday October 12, 2023, Mainor Sagastume, age 33, of Kingston, New York, was arraigned on an indictment by an Ulster County Grand Jury for the Felonies of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, Stalking in the Second Degree and two counts of Stalking in the Fourth Degree. Posted: October 10, 2023Ulster County District Attorney David Clegg today announced that Chief Assistant District Attorney, Emmanuel Nneji, and Senior Assistant District Attorney, Felicia S. Raphael, secured a guilty plea on October 10, 2023, from former Ulster County Finance Director Burton Gulnick, Jr., in connection with the theft of tens of thousands of dollars from a local not-for-profit, as well as monies from an election campaign account. Posted: September 8, 2023KINGSTON, NY – On September 7, 2023, Naseem Pass, age 25, of Albany, pled guilty to Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a class C felony, before the Honorable Bryan E. Rounds. An Ulster County Grand Jury indicted the defendant for possessing a loaded firearm, specifically a 9mm Taurus pistol with a defaced serial number, following a traffic stop. Both the driver of the vehicle and the defendant attempted to flee on foot and were apprehended by members of the New York State Police. Posted: September 1, 2023KINGSTON, NY – On September 1, 2023 William Knox, III, age 29, of Kingston, pleaded guilty to Strangulation in the Second Degree and Assault in the Second Degree, both class D felonies, before visiting Sullivan County Court Judge James Farrell. Knox faces 5 to 7 years in State Prison on each charge. Knox was first charged for acts of domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend in February and March of 2022. He choked the victim in front of her 4-year-old child, causing injury and loss of consciousness to the victim.Link to content: view
