Posted: October 8, 2014The Law Requires Gas Stations To Clearly Display The Cash As Well As The Credit Price Of Fuel Kingston, NY – Today, County Executive Mike Hein signed Local Law Number 8 of 2014 which is aimed at protecting consumers and promoting transparency in gasoline price advertising. The new law requires gas stations that choose to charge different prices for motor vehicle fuels depending on whether the consumer pays in cash or by credit card to clearly display the higher of two prices, if not both.
